Pickleball in Action: Rally Back in Time

Step back in time for an evening of fun, laughter, and friendly competition at Pickleball in Action: Rally Back in Time—a one-of-a-kind pickleball fundraiser in support of The Joy Smith Foundation.

This isn't your typical pickleball event! Expect fun, surprises, prizes, and a few twists as we put a retro spin on the game. Dress in your favourite decade—from the groovy '70s to the neon '80s or beyond—and enjoy an evening filled with music, community, and purpose.

Whether you're an experienced player or simply looking for a memorable night out, you'll be helping raise funds to prevent and end human trafficking in Canada.

Event Details

Date: Tuesday, September 15
Location: New Bothwell Arena

BBQ: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Fuel up, meet fellow players, and enjoy a delicious barbecue before the games begin.

Pickleball: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Registration Fee: $20 per person

Registration Deadline: August 15

Maximum Participants: 40 players

Event Format

Players will take part in a fun pickleball game featuring a unique format with exciting surprises throughout the evening. Rather than a traditional tournament, Rally Back in Time is designed to maximize fun, laughter, and participation while giving everyone plenty of opportunities to play.

No matter your skill level, you'll enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, great competition, and an unforgettable evening.

Fundraising Challenge

Every participant has the opportunity to make an even bigger impact by creating a personal fundraising page and inviting friends, family, and coworkers to support their efforts.

Funds raised help The Joy Smith Foundation continue its work in:

Fundraising Rewards

As part of the Joy in Action fundraising challenge, you'll earn exclusive rewards as you reach fundraising milestones:

• Raise $200 – Receive an official Joy in Action hat

• Raise $400 – Receive an official Joy in Action hoodie

Top fundraisers will also receive special recognition.
