Important Information
- Entry numbers to this event will be capped at 400.
- Mandatory Equipment - please ensure you have read the Rules and Equipment page prior.
- Qualifying event - please ensure you have read the Rules and Equipment page and know which qualifying race you will select ready to include in the registration. All entries will be checked.
- Craft Transport to Rottnest Island for The Doctor - you must book the barge online here or organise your own transport of your craft to Rottnest Island. Please note, numbers are limited for the Oceanpaddler barge, available until sold out. Barge transport is for craft only, not the competitor.
- Ferry to Rottnest Island for The Doctor - you must organise your own transport to Rottnest Island. Click here for Rottnest Fast Ferry information.
- Vaikobi Merchandise - all merchandise items purchased will be available to collect at race week. PLB's & whistles can be posted to you prior for a small fee. Please email us your request contact@oceanpaddler.com
Categories
Age Category is based on your age as of 31st December 2026. For example a competitor who is 19 or turning 19 in the 2026 calendar year will race in the Under 19 category. Likewise if you are 39 now, but turning 40 prior to 31st December this year then you can enter the 40-49yrs surf ski category.
