Shaw and Partners 20 Beaches Ocean Classic

The 20 Beaches Ocean Classic is one of the most iconic Ocean Paddling races in Australia, first held in 1990 and run by the Manly Warringah Kayak Club. Now organised by the 20 Beaches Foundation, the race attracts the cream of Australia’s best Ocean Paddlers, who vie to hold up the coveted Steve Wood and Yanda Trophys.

Depending on wind conditions, the course will run from Long Reef to Palm Beach in a northerly direction or Palm Beach to Long Reef in a southerly direction.

The course, start and finish locations will be determined in the lead up to the race.

Presentations will take place after the event at the Long Reef SLSC.

This years 20 Beaches Ocean Classic is also the National Championships for the Shaw and Parttners Australian Ocean Racing Series.
