In 2010 the inaugural Blue Lake Fun Run attracted over 1,000 participants including team entries from schools, sporting clubs and workplaces. The Fun Run started as an OPAL initiative which received overwhelming support from the community, government agencies, non-government organizations and businesses who all worked together to create an amazing inaugural event.
The previous Blue Lake Fun Runs have attracted around 1,300 participants.
