2026 Flint River Flotilla Fest

Join us at Tenacity Brewing on Saturday, August 1, 2026 as we celebrate the return of one of Flint's favorite summer traditions after a five-year hiatus. Whether you choose a kayak, canoe, paddleboard, raft, your favorite pool float, or build your own, the Flint River Flotilla is your chance to experience the Flint River like never before.

Participants will float from the Grand Traverse Launch next to Tenacity Brewing (119 N. Grand Traverse St., #5620, Flint, MI 48503) to Paddler's Landing @ Mott Park Recreation Area, passing through Chevy Commons and the new State Park while enjoying the unique beauty, sights, and wildlife of the Flint River. The Flotilla is more than just a float—it's a celebration of our community, our waterways, and the exciting future of the Flint River corridor.

Launches begin at 10:00 a.m. and are scheduled in 30-minute intervals through 11:30 a.m. Participants will choose their launch time during event registration and should arrive at Tenacity Brewing 30 minutes before their scheduled launch time to allow for dropping vehicles off at Paddler's Landing in Mott Park and catching the shuttle back to the launch site at Tenacity to check in and inflate floats if needed.

After you exit at Paddler's Landing in Mott Park, load up and drive back to Tenacity Brewing for the official Flotilla Fest Afterparty from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Enjoy live music, delicious food trucks, drinks, awards, and plenty of fun as we celebrate another successful day on the river.

Adults (18+): $25

Official Flotilla Fest t-shirts are available in adult sizes and can be added on to your adult registration for $15

Youth (Ages 11–17): $10

Children (10 & under): FREE

Includes:

* Event registration and shuttle transportation only

All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Event T-Shirts (Adult sizes ONLY) are available for pre-order as part of registration to anyone registering before July 22nd, 2026. Event T-Shirts (Adult sizes ONLY) will be available for purchase on the day of the event for $20 while supplies last.
