Brian Honan was a graduate of Boston College and a Boston City Councilor for Allston-Brighton. The mission of the Brian J. Honan Charitable Fund is the continued development of those causes that Brian championed throughout his life. As a teacher, prosecutor and City Councilor, Brian endeavored to give ordinary people the chance to live extraordinary lives through education, recreation, housing and healthcare initiatives. With the funds raised from the Brian Honan 5K the Charitable Fund has been able to support such local and national programs.
