Join us for the Faculty of Health Fun Run!
As one of the longest-standing traditions at the University of Waterloo, participants have the option of completing a 2.5 km or 5 km run, jog, walk or however you chose to move!

About the event
Held on the morning of Homecoming, the Fun Run will occur rain or shine. The event is open to faculty, staff, alumni, students, families with strollers and community members of all ages. This is a fully accessible event.
Participants are encouraged to have fun - join a team, wear costumes, etc. for a chance to win prizes. Music, games and the official warm-up will also add to the fun!
The event will include chip timing and results will be posted online. For the 5KM run it can be used as part of an official race in the running community.
Supporting the Faculty of Health
This year’s event will help support the University’s ambitious Healthy Waterloo initiative. By harnessing our campus community as a “living lab,” we will focus on creating, testing and implementing preventative health solutions that inspire enhanced quality of life for all individuals, communities, and populations.

Future Walker/Runner (Stroller Occupant)
Strollers and their passengers are free, and must be registered through this system. During the event, they must be accompanied (pushed) by a registered participant.
Course Routes
The 5 KM course route is a certified distance following this route Faculty of Health 5 KM Route
The 2.5 KM course route is approximately 2.5 KM following this route Faculty of Health 2.5 KM Route
Every KM will be marked, and there will be Marshalls along the course route.
There will be 2 Water Stations along the route and one at the Finish.
