Help Rowan raise money

Hello, friends! I'm participating in a 5K to raise funds for Brandon Lee and other land defenders working to protect and serve peasant farmers in the Philippines. Brandon Lee is a Chinese American activist born and raised in San Francisco. On August 6, 2019, after almost a decade of organizing alongside indigenous communities in Ifugao, Philippines, Brandon was shot four times by the Philippine Armed Forces, paralyzing him from the chest down. Thankfully, Brandon returned to San Francisco where he continues to organize in solidarity with the Filipino people. On April 19, 2026, the Armed Forces of the Philippines committed a massacre of 19 people on Negros Island. One of the victims was Lyle Prijoles, a Bay Area resident and one of Brandon’s closest friends. This 5K is dedicated to the victims of the Negros 19 massacre. It is also a fundraiser to provide support for Brandon’s long-term care and for land defenders in the Philippines!
