The Running Company Lilydale and New Balance are offering a FREE social run to guide runners who are interested in, or are registered for the Puffing Billy Running Festival (or who just feel like a Sunday run in a beautiful location with others!).

TEST RUN A PAIR OF NEW BALANCE

You will have the opportunity to be fitted into a pair of newly released New Balance shoes to test for the morning! (Exact model to be confirmed!!)

RUN AND WIN WITH NEW BALANCE

By joining us, you'll go into the draw to be fitted up into and WIN a pair of FREE PAIR OF NEW BALANCE SHOES at The Running Company Lilydale!

EVENT SCHEDULE

• 8:30am - Runners to arrive meeting at the Function Room at the Puffing Billy Lakeside Visitor Centre, Emerald Lake Park
• 8:30am – 9:00am New Balance Shoe Fitting!
• 9:00am - Welcome, Acknowledgement of Country, and Railway Safety Information
• 9:05am - Bec & Steve from The Running Company Lilydale will give you a briefing of the run course.
• 9:15am - Run commences!
• From 10:00am runners will return.
  (and please return the New Balance test shoes ... you can't take those with you for free!)
• From 10:00am - Prize Draw, FREE post-run massages by Thrive Sports Medicine (Croydon) in the Function Room.
• Guests welcome to purchase food and beverages and relax in the visitor centre and grounds of Emerald Lake Park
• 11:00am - Event Concludes

Thrive Sports Medicine

Caleb McInnes (Sports Podiatrist) and Min Bae (Physiotherapist) from Thrive Sports Medicine in Croydon share a strong passion for helping runners and athletes perform at their best. They are excited to be part of this event where they will be providing your post-run massages and making themselves available for anyone wanting to chat about running or sporting injuries, rehab, or performance.

Whether you’ve got a niggle, a long-standing issue, or just a question, they will be there to help!

The Running Company, Lilydale

Meet Steve and Bec Rosel - Passionate runners, coaches, and proud owners of The Running Company Lilydale since January 2019. Bec is a past winner of the Puffing Billy Run. Both Steve and Bec are incredibly knowledgable about footwear and encouraging of all running abilities to get fitter and faster.

SOME IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Bring your family along to take a walk through the park while you are out running.
• It's a Dog friendly event BUT please note that dogs are not able to enter the Lakeside Visitor Centre building.
• Runners 16 years+ please.
• Bag drop available in Function Room.
• Photographers will be taking photos during the event, if you'd prefer not to be photographed, please let us know during sign-up and by crossing your arms across your chest when you see a photographer!
• Course will be within Emerald Lake Park, it will follow
• We will have run leaders running with you at various paces, however the course is not marked (though not complicated) so please carry your mobile phone in case you get lost.
