Biketoberfest 2026 Volunteer Registration

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Biketoberfest on Sunday, October 11 (Rain Date: Sunday, October 18)! Biketoberfest could not happen without volunteers, and we appreciate your time, effort, and energy! We have a variety of opportunities to help throughout event day.

A few important details:

  • Volunteers ages 17 and under must volunteer with a parent or legal guardian who is also volunteering.
  • Volunteers are welcome to sign up for more than one shift if they do not overlap.
  • Each volunteer must register separately (parents/legal guardians are to register on behalf of their child)
  • Sustain Charlotte team is trying something new this year-- Goosechase's mobile-friendly scavenger hunt site will replace printed passports! This means there will not be a "passport pickup party" the Friday before the event and the "passport stamper" volunteer role is no longer needed. We anticipate volunteer needs on the route. If interested, please select the "Flex" volunteer role and note your interest in being assigned along the route in the comments section.
  • Parking: Volunteers will be responsible for transportation to/from their assigned location, including any parking fees. We encourage biking, walking, and use of public transit and will be happy to answer any specific questions. Please email us!

Volunteer perks — choose one!

  • A complimentary registration to ride the Biketoberfest route! Some shifts will allow you to both volunteer and ride.

OR

  • Extra raffle tickets to win prizes at the Biketoberfest afterparty, plus a voucher for a free beverage at Triple C! A great option if you want to volunteer and enjoy the Biketoberfest festivities, but don't plan to ride the route.

Once you've signed up, Sustain Charlotte will be in touch to confirm your volunteer shift and perk choice. Additional details and event-day instructions will be provided closer to the event.
