Join us for the 6th Annual Martin McGuinness Chieftains Walk as we honor Martin’s extraordinary legacy of leadership, peace, reconciliation, and the continuing journey toward a united Ireland.

This year, we are honored to welcome Martin’s daughter, Gráinne Hargan, who will travel from Ireland to join us for the walk.

Whether you have walked with us before or are joining for the first time, we invite you to stand with friends from across the Irish-American community in support of the work of the Martin McGuinness Peace Foundation and our shared vision of peace, reconciliation, and Irish reunification.

Please note: Due to construction at the Irish Hunger Memorial, we will not be meeting there this year. The event will begin and end at Pier 25. Participants will walk along the Hudson River waterfront from Pier 25 to Pier 45 and back.

Event Schedule

9:00 – 10:00 a.m. | Registration & Opening Celebration

• Check in and pick up your event materials.
• Enjoy traditional Irish music.
• Hear special remarks from Foundation representatives and honored guests.
• Meet friends old and new from across the Irish-American community.

10:00 a.m. | Chieftains Walk Begins

• Walk together along the beautiful Hudson River waterfront.
• Celebrate Martin McGuinness's legacy while supporting the Foundation's work promoting peace, reconciliation, and a united Ireland.
