5K Fun Run & 1 Mile Walk

ADI will participate in Second Harvest's (Silicon Valley) Make it to a Million Challenge and host a 5K Fun Run & 1 Mile Walk called the Race to End Hunger! The event will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the San Jose campus.
Starting and finishing lines are at ADI’s campus at 160 Rio Robles, San Jose, CA 95134. The race route details will be communicated via email.
Second Harvest’s Make It to a Million Donation Challenge: ADI will join other Silicon Valley companies in a 5-day challenge to raise $1 million to help Second Harvest provide 2 million meals to those in need.
Donations can be made beginning at 12 p.m. on Monday, October 19, through 12 p.m. on Friday, October 23, on ADI’s dedicated donation link. Any donations made using this link before Monday, October 19 at 12 p.m. will not count towards the Make it to a Million Challenge.
Race Registration:

All employees will need to register for a Race Roster account if this is the first time participating. Click on the Register button on the right side of this page.
Packet Pickup:
Employees who register by Thursday, October 1, 11:59 p.m. PST can pick up their race packet (bib and shirt), during the times listed below. Employees who register after October 1 can pick up their bib during the times listed below:
- Tuesday, October 20, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 21, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Thursday, October 22, between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m.
All packet pickups will take place in Café Rio.
Employees who do not pick up their race packet during these times will not receive their race packet.
Race Day Schedule:
Thursday, October 22nd
Event start time: 2 p.m.
5K Award Ceremony start time: 3 p.m., during the post-race celebration in the courtyard.

Q: When is the Race to End Hunger 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk?
A: The Race to End Hunger will take place on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 2 p.m. at ADI's 160 Rio Robles San Jose campus.
Q: What time should I arrive at the gathering area before the Race to End Hunger?
A: Please arrive by 2 p.m. at the outside of 160 Rio Robles for a pre-race stretch and ceremony. We want to ensure a prompt start time.

A: You can donate to the Make It to a Million Donation Challenge on ADI's dedicated page in our Global Giving Portal here. Donations can be made beginning at 12 p.m. on Monday, October 19, through 12 p.m. on Friday, October 23. A: Race register will close on Wednesday, October 21 at 3 p.m. Only employees who registered by Thursday, October 1, at 11:59 p.m. PST will receive a 2026 Race to End Hunger t-shirt.
Q: What is the 5K route?
A: The route will go through the back of ADI's 160 Rio Robles and up to the Guadalupe River trail. Below is an image of the 5k race route.

Q: What is the 1 Mile walk route?
A: The route will go through the back of ADI's 160 Rio Robles and up to the Guadalupe River trail. Below is an image of the 1 Mile walk route.

Q: If I don't want to run or walk, how can I still be a part of the Race to End Hunger?
A: There are volunteer opportunities on race day, including bib and t-shirt pick up, and cheer squad and water stations along the race route.
Q: When will the 5K awards be given out?
A: The award ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. in the Courtyard, during the post-race celebration.
Q: Who can receive awards?
A: Awards will be given only to ADI employees who participated in the 5K. The top three female, male, and non-binary participants in the 5K run will be given awards. Participants who wish to be considered for these awards should select the category that best aligns with their identity during registration.

A: Finish times will be tracked by the chip time.
