This year’s Gobble Wobble theme is Every Step Fills a Plate, reflecting the powerful impact this Thanksgiving tradition can have on children and families in our community. Every $40 race registration provides 7, five-component meals for a child in Madison County. Every registration and sponsorship dollar helps turn footsteps into meals through the YMCA of Madison County’s food insecurity programs.
Help Us Stock the Shelves
We are hosting this year a community food drive during both packet-pickup days—November 24 and 25 from 5–8 p.m.—and on race day. Participants and community members are encouraged to bring canned goods and other non-perishable food. Donations will help stock the YMCA food closet and support local organizations serving Madison County neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
The Gobble Wobble is more than a race. It’s an opportunity to be part of a cherished Thanksgiving tradition while helping provide meals, hope and support to local children and families.
Moisture-Wicking Event Shirts guaranteed to all participants registered during early registration.
Extra shirts are ordered but sizes and availability cannot be guaranteed for registrations after November 9th. Extra shirts will be handed out to those registered after the 10th on a first come, first serve basis on one of the package pick up days.
