What better way to start the Holidays than with a chance to run through the Holiday Light Display! Our 5K race will start the 2026 Annual Holiday Season's Christmas Light Display to the Public at Cherokee County Veteran's Park. It begins at sundown, and you see the lights illuminate as you progress though the course through the park, running through the massive tunnel of lights every lap, and to the finish line at the Buzz Center with SANTA.

❄️ Head lamp / light is suggested.
❄️ 5k in-person event will be chip timed!
❄️ Awesome race shirt guaranteed in your size with registration until 11/8/26. Afterwards, they'll be while supply lasts.
❄️ Participant medal for all finishers.
❄️ Create a 5K timed team of 5 or more (all in the same transactions) and receive a $5 discount per person starting August 22, 2026.
❄️ AND A VISIT FROM SANTA !!!!!


Each year, proceeds from the race event are donated to a designated local charity. This year's race to benefit Speed for Need. Learn more about this amazing organization by clicking HERE.

4:00 PM - Race day packet pick-up and in-person registration

6:00 PM - 5K Start for wheelchair drivers and track commanders

6:05 PM - 5K Start for Individuals

7:00 PM - Awards

Our Peachtree Qualifier course (USATF Course #GA20006DJ) is 100% inside of Veteran's Park, wonderfully flat, fast, and chip timed.
We have the entire Veteran's Memorial Park in Canton, so there won't be any traffic beeping to pressure you to run faster. You can race through, do a leisurely jog, or walk the 5K course, starting at 6 PM. You don't want to miss this one!

Parking is off-site at Revolution Church. Shuttle Service from off-site parking is available.

In the past, parking has been limited to the field areas at Veteran’s Memorial Park to be able to run through the lights. We were lucky to have dry weather before and during the event. With increased participation, spaces filled quickly. Early departure before the awards was difficult due to runners and walkers still on the course.

This year, parking will be at Revolution Church, located at 125 Union Hill Trail, Canton, GA. We have multiple shuttles for service this year. Shuttles will begin at 4 pm for registration and pre-race activities and continue after the race returning runners and guests to the parking.

We’d like EVERYONE to use off-site parking. You can drop off families and friends, but we encourage and recommend parking at Revolution Church and using shuttle this year.

For those wanting to drive through the lights afterward, just show your race bib for free entry on the night of the event.
