About Us
Who Are We
Holistic Recovery began in 2020 when a small group of local professionals saw too many people in regional NSW falling through the gaps of mental health, disability and aged care systems. Today, our team includes psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, registered nurses, mental health support workers, peer workers and disability support workers, all working together to support the whole person.
From our base in Tamworth and Armidale, we walk alongside people in their homes and communities, helping them feel safer, more connected and more in control of daily life. Whether someone is living with psychosocial disability, managing complex health needs or ageing at home, we bring clinical expertise and lived experience together to design support around what matters most to them.
Every member of our team shares the same passion for listening deeply, respecting each person’s story and tailoring support to their goals. Guided by trauma‑informed, recovery‑focused and person‑centred practice, Holistic Recovery continues to grow while holding onto its original purpose: helping regional people live more independent, hopeful and fulfilling lives.
