Rapahope

Counselor Testimonial 

The week of camp is something I plan my summer around.
Rapahope is so special because it’s a place that the campers get
to come, have fun, and be themselves! They get this week out of
the summer to be a kid and also make memories and friendships
that will last their entire lives.

From a counselor’s standpoint, I love the fact that we get to be
the guiding hand in helping the kids make those memories.
Seeing the smiles, tears, and laughter on the kids’ faces at the
end of the week is the only thing I need to keep coming back
every summer!

We always talk about how much we’re doing for these campers,
but we never talk about the inspiration we, as counselors, get
from them. These kids' joy and happiness radiates! After camp,
I’m always left better and happier than I was before.
