Dark concrete under your feet. LED lights slicing through the night. A live DJ set. Teams tearing through an underground parking lot after hours.
No rooftop. No open lot.
This one runs underground.
Loud, dark, electric, and built for anyone who wants a piece of it.
THE RACE
$28 per participant
Run the Parkade is a 4x400m relay race where teams of four go head-to-head in a bracket-style, single-elimination competition.
Each runner completes one 400m lap, navigating hairpin turns and straightaways before handing the baton off to their next teammate.
Think F1 racing but on foot.
48 teams. 192 runners. One champion.
If you already have a team, make sure to register under your team's name.
No team yet? No problem. Register as a solo runner and we’ll match you with a team. If you're still unmatched by race day, we’ll randomly slot you into a squad.
Nobody gets left out.
HOW IT PLAYS OUT
Round 1 - 8 Heats
Six teams line up and go head-to-head. The top two teams from each heat advance.
Semifinals - 4 Heats
Four teams per heat. Win your heat and you're through.
The Final
The four semifinal winners face off for the title of Run the Parkade Champions.
Every runner covers 400m. Every transition requires a baton handoff. The fastest combined team time wins the heat and moves on.
One rule that matters: Every team must include at least one runner who identifies as female or non-binary.
And this isn't just for the young and fast. Whether you're 19 or 60, a first-time racer or a seasoned competitor, if you've got the energy, we want you there.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the distance of the track?
The track is 400 metres! Each runner on your team will complete one full lap, meaning your relay team will cover 1,600 metres total.
Will there be lanes?
Nope! Everyone will be racing in the same open racing area, and you’ll choose your position throughout the race. Think F1 racing, but on foot.
Will there be designated areas for baton exchanges?
Yes! We’ll have an approximate 5-metre exchange zone. Once the race starts, the second runner can position themselves within this zone and get ready for a clean handoff from their teammate.
Will there be batons?
Of course! This is a real relay race. The baton must be handed off at every transition, so don’t drop it! 👀
Can I register solo, or do I need a team?
You can absolutely register solo! Select the Solo Team option when registering.
We know getting four friends together can be tricky, so we’ll group solo runners together with other participants. You might show up alone and leave with three new running buddies.
When does my heat start?
Heats will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis on event day.
Please arrive by 6:00 PM so you have plenty of time to check in, get familiar with the parkade, meet your teammates, and get ready to race.
Heats will begin at 7:00 PM and continue throughout the evening until everyone has had their chance to race.
