Run for Lebanon Volunteer
About the Event
Run for Lebanon Calgary is a community run and gathering bringing people together in support of Lebanon. The event will include a run/walk, community activities, food, and family-friendly programming while raising funds for meaningful projects in Lebanon.
Volunteer Commitment
Our volunteers are a big part of making the event run smoothly. Depending on your assigned role, you may be helping with registration, route support, setup, food distribution, activities, cleanup, or general event support.
Please only register if you expect to be available for your selected shift. Some roles may require arriving before the event begins or staying shortly after it finishes.
Volunteer Roles
Volunteer opportunities may include:
- Event setup and takedown
- Registration and check-in
- Route marshals and course support
- Water stations
- Food and refreshment distribution
- Kids and family activities
- Crowd guidance and general event support
- Cleanup and waste management
Specific assignments and instructions will be shared closer to the event.
What to Expect
This is a community event, so volunteers should be comfortable working with families, participants, other volunteers, and event organizers in a busy outdoor environment.
Please come prepared for the weather, wear comfortable clothing and footwear, and bring a positive attitude.
