The ultra-runner's answer to the beep test ... or maybe the ultimate progressive run!
The Pooh Corner Environmental Centre (PCEC) is 138 hectares of bushland in Wacol, around 17 kilometres South West of Brisbane's city centre. It's been managed and cared for by the Wolston and Centenary Catchments (WaCC) since its opening in 2015, supported by Brisbane City Council.
At its heart the Kangaroo Trail is 3.9 kilometre in length. It's flat, wide and a hose to plenty of wildlife. You can pop out for a cruisey couple of laps, grab a coffee and watch the event unfold, or put it on the line and find out for how long you can beat the drop.
Registration: $59 - includes donation to the reserve and all registration fees.
