You may complete your distance anytime from November 1–30.
“Karunungan” means knowledge—and this November, we’re putting knowledge in motion.
KaRUNungan 2026 builds on Knowledge Channel’s long tradition of turning movement into learning.
The journey began in October 2004 with “Lakad Mo, Pangarap Ko,” which brought together 8,000 participants and raised ₱5.845 million for the Foundation, helping expand access to curriculum-based video lessons and educational packages for disadvantaged schools and learners. In 2005, “Lakad Mo, Pangarap Ko 2: Nationwide Na ’To!” took the advocacy beyond Manila to Cebu and Davao.
In November 2010, KaRUNungan: “Every Learner, A Finisher” continued the movement in support of the Karunungan Fund for educational programs and learning systems for underprivileged Filipino children. The advocacy even reached New York, with Knowledge Channel Foundation President Rina Lopez running the New York City Marathon as part of the “42-for-42” pledge campaign.
More than a decade later, KaRUNungan returns—this time global and virtual.
Every kilometer you walk or run helps bring learning within reach of more Filipino children.
For 27 years, Knowledge Channel has helped Filipino children learn through television, digital platforms, schools, and communities. Today, we continue that mission by bringing quality learning resources to children who need them most—helping them build strong literacy skills, understand what they read, and gain the knowledge and confidence to succeed in school and in life.
One run. One purpose. More opportunities for every Filipino child to learn.

Wherever you are, every kilometer counts.
Together, let’s help more Filipino children learn to
read, learn better, and dream bigger.
