The 2026 Great Gobble 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk, is an untimed fun run/walk, taking place on the morning of Thanksgiving Day at Autumn Ridge Church in Rochester! Autumn Ridge Church has once again graciously offered their large, heated, indoor facility so that no matter the weather on Thanksgiving Day, you'll be comfortable before and after the run/walk! Minnesota Treads staff will direct this event, and hopes to significantly impact Autumn Ridge Church's Big Box initiative, while still providing donations to various charities in Southeastern Minnesota.
Each registrant can purchase a fun & festive The Great Gobble T-shirt (UH-OH... we have kids sizes T-shirts this year!! 😍) Additionally, we'll provide Nothing Bundt Cake - bundtini's!! Hot Chocolate, Coffee & some of the greatest donuts the world has ever tasted! 😋
We brought the price of the event down this year, knowing that some people don't need another T-shirt or Turkey Gloves.
Autumn Ridge Church's Big Box program is designed to assist children and families in need by providing as many healthy, non-perishable food items as possible (some fun choices are also encouraged). If you're able to help with an additional food or monetary donation, it would be greatly appreciated!
"The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members." -Coretta Scott King
