Dromore Dirt Dash Duathlon

Grind the Gravel. Du the Dash. A fun fall duathlon (run/bike/run) to wrap up Triathlon PEI's 2026 season. This gravel event (both the run and bike will be on dirt roads) features Super Sprint and Sprint-distance duathlons.

The first 20 entrants will walk away with a Dirt Dash stainless steel mug for registering early and everyone will enjoy some post-event treats! There will be prizes for the top 3 finishers (M and F) in each race category.

This fun and friendly event is perfect for triathlon newbies and veterans alike. Please note that gravel, mountain and hybrid bikes are appropriate for this event. Road and triathlon bikes will not be permitted on the dirt roads.

We are starting from the Dromore Woodland Trails Trailhead parking lot (GPS 46.2837165 - 62.818263)

Event start: 8:30am

Course Details

This gravel duathlon will feature out and back running sections on some rolling hills. The bike loop is mostly dirt roads with one small section of pavement. The run and bike routes will not be closed to traffic. Signs will be posted to alert drivers that a race is in progress.

*Minimum age for Super Sprint is 14 and Sprint is 16 both by December 31st, 2026

Important Information

Please note all participants must be members of Triathlon PEI, Triathlon NS, Triathlon NB or Triathlon NL . Purchase an Annual membership at https://www.tripei.ca/membership

OR purchase a $20 ($10 for under 16) Triathlon PEI One-Day membership at check out.

No E-Bikes, road or triathlon bikes. Only gravel and mountain bikes will be permitted.

Other Details

There will be no refunds, deferrals or transfers for this event.

We welcome volunteers! Please email triathlonpei@gmail.com if you have a family member or friend willing to lend a hand. Volunteers will earn a discount code for a future Triathlon PEI event!

Please note: members of Triathlon NS, Triathlon NB and Triathlon NL do not need to purchase a Triathlon PEI Day Membership for this event! We've got you covered:)
