What LBC Does
LBC is the national charity that stands with New Zealanders and their whānau who are affected by blood cancers and related blood disorders. Their mission is simple and powerful, to care for people today and to help drive better outcomes for tomorrow.
- Support Services: LBC supports over 6,000 patients and their families every year with individualised support, peer support programmes for adults and children, education sessions, financial support, and practical help so no one faces blood cancer alone.
- Research Funding: LBC contributes over $500,000 every year of funding and scholarships that back New Zealand based research into blood cancers and related blood conditions.
- Awareness and Advocacy: LBC works to increase public knowledge of blood cancers and conditions.
Every dollar raised helps LBC deliver care, fund research, and support Kiwi families when they need it most.
