My Story…
Advocating for the Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) community is a mission I’ve held close to my heart for more than three decades. So this year I’m teaming up with the T1D Warriors to run the Flying Pig Half Marathon!
I chose to support the T1D Warriors because of their direct, tangible impact. They provide free emergency low kits and critical training to schools, equipping classrooms and athletic fields with life-saving resources. This initiative empowers educators and coaches to respond swiftly to T1D emergencies, ensuring that every student and athlete is safe, supported, and protected.
