**Important Event Update**

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Southwest Vertical Challenge at Arizona Snowbowl originally scheduled for August 15, 2026, has been postponed to August 14, 2027.

All registered participants will have the option to: Receive a full refund for the 2026 event, or Defer their registration to the rescheduled event on August 14, 2027.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support.

Join us on August 14, 2027 for a beautiful, spiritual and challenging vertical ascent of the spectacular AZ Snowbowl!

You will wind up through the trails with magnificent views of the Kachina Peak Wilderness blasting out a 4300 gain with a vertical peak of 11,500!

Be prepared to be elevated at AZ Snowbowl!

Bring on the challenge!

Begin your journey on a single track on the AZT trail, in the Coconino National Forest opening up to the Aspen meadows to a final ascent up Upper Volcano finishing at the gondola at an 11,500 peak elevation!

Approximate distance is 11-12ish miles.

Bring it on trail gurus! This event is USATF MUT Sanctioned
