The New Belgium Asheville Marathon & Half returns in 2027, celebrating 15 years with a course that highlights the city’s best—historic neighborhoods, lively downtown streets, the colorful River Arts District, and scenic miles along the French Broad River Greenway.
The half and the marathon are both USATF certified, and the marathon remains a Boston-qualifying event.

Register by Sunday, February 7th at midnight to receive a complimentary New Belgium Asheville Marathon & Half 15th Annual commemorative race shirt, available in both unisex and women's sizing.
Beginning Monday, February 8th, shirts will be available only in limited quantities and sizes while supplies last. Register early to guarantee your preferred size and secure your shirt!
You have the option to have your shirt + bib mailed to you in advance, so you can skip packet pickup! Purchase this option for $20 during registration or from the race store up until February 21st at midnight. Packets will ship approximately 1 1/2 to 2 weeks prior to race day.

- Full race expo and packet pickup
Saturday, March 20th (6:00 AM - 7:00 AM)

- Extremely limited, emergency-only packet pickup
- You will only get your bib and safety pins and will need to pickup your shirt and swag after the race.
- We will be unable to guarantee your shirt size will be available after the race.
Skip packet pickup and have your shirt + bib mailed to you in advance! Purchase this option for $20 during registration or from the race store up until February 21st at midnight. Packets will be shipped approximately 1 1/2 - 2 weeks prior to race day.
If you can't make it to the Race Expo to pick up your packet, take advantage of the pre-event shipping option or have a friend or family member pick up your packet for you.
