MammothMarch is back in Texas!

MammothMarch returns for another unforgettable hiking adventure in one of the most fascinating and scenic State Parks in Texas: Dinosaur Valley. Join us on February 20 or 21, 2027, where our 20-mile, single-circuit hiking route will once again put every inch of the Park’s beauty on full display, including its hilly, hardscrabble limestone terrain and the Paluxy River.

Explore where 113 million years ago, dinosaurs left footprints in the mud at the edge of an ancient ocean and walk their tracks in the bed of the Paluxy River.

Dinosaur Valley State Park is located less than 90 minutes southwest of Dallas/Fort Worth and less than 3 hours northwest of Austin. It not only features our beautiful 20-mile hiking route but also options to camp, picnic, mountain bike, swim, fish, paddle in the river, watch for wildlife, ride your horse, or visit the Park’s interpretive center, all which makes for an unforgettable weekend getaway.
