Hamilton’s Around the Bay Road Race is the oldest on the continent, first run in 1894, three years before the Boston Marathon. Rich in history and tradition, the race has grown to include a 5K, 10K, 16K and virtual categories to complement its signature 30K distance. Each participant adds to the history of this beloved race around Hamilton and Burlington's harbour!

We honour our past, our history, and our traditions with our long standing logo but proceed with a clean, fresh approach with a classic but modern logo. At times you may see the use of the traditional logo that notes its inception in 1894. Other times, we may use the updated and streamlined version. And sometimes, you'll see both logos used in unison as a bridge from the past to the present.
