My Story…

We're trading textbooks for running shoes — and running for a great cause! On April 4, 2027, members of the DeGroote MBA Class of 2027 will be taking on Hamilton's iconic Around the Bay Road Race while raising funds in support of St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton. With countless case studies, group projects, late nights, and deadlines behind us, we're making the most of our April break before heading into our final MBA semester! This race is about more than crossing a finish line. It's an opportunity to come together as a cohort, challenge ourselves, give back to our community, and support the exceptional healthcare services that St. Joseph's provides to patients and families. We've spent the last two years learning about leadership, teamwork, and perseverance. Now we're putting those lessons into action for a cause that truly matters. We'd love your support! Sharing our fundraising page, or making a donation, every contribution helps make a difference.

Description

Welcome to my fundraising page!

This year I’m taking on the Around the Bay Road Race and raising funds for St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation. St. Joe’s is the heart of Hamilton — nearly everyone I know has been touched by the exceptional care provided here.

Funds raised through Around the Bay will buy much‑needed healthcare equipment at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. It may seem surprising that items like ultrasound machines, wheelchairs, and other essential devices aren’t covered by provincial operating dollars. The truth is nearly every piece of equipment used in the Hospital is funded by donations from people like you and events like the Bay Race.

Please know that the money you help me raise has a real, immediate impact on the lives of patients at St. Joe’s. Your support buys the tools clinicians use every day to diagnose, treat, and comfort our neighbours.

Thank you for donating to my campaign and for helping fund the equipment that cares at St. Joe’s.
