5k Loop Around Scenic Fresh Pond
This 5k loop around Fresh Pond starts and finishes on the service road behind the water building and takes place entirely within Fresh Pond Reservation, along historic trails and pathways and verdant woods. From the water building, run clockwise towards the open gate that takes you along the paved pathway and continue past the Golf Course and Little Fresh Pond. Take LEFT at Sousa's Rock, heading up towards Maher Field. Take your first RIGHT, running past the soccer field and through a wooded area that returns you to the Pond. Take a LEFT on the paved pathway, continuing until you reach the front side of the water building, bearing to the right onto the wood chipped pathway that runs along the perimeter of beautiful Fresh Pond. At the top of the hill take a LEFT to finish behind the Water Building, where you started. The run is all in nature - no cars!
