Join us on February 21, 2027 for the return of RunGo Dash for Dogs — a fun, community-focused 2K/5K/10K winter trail event celebrating the joy of walking or running, dogs, supporting a great cause, and the outdoors.
RunGo Dash for Dogs proudly supports BC & Alberta Guide Dogs, helping raise funds for their life-changing programs that provide professionally trained guide and service dogs at no cost to recipients. Thanks to the incredible generosity of participants, sponsors, volunteers, and donors, Dash for Dogs has raised over $220,000 in the past 13 years. The 2026 event alone raised over $30,000 in support of their mission — and we’re excited to build on that momentum in 2027.
Participants can expect:
- Scenic winter trail routes in Stanley Park
- A welcoming and inclusive atmosphere
- Post-run pancakes
- Post-race festivities: Lots of prizes, giveaways, good tunes, community partners, blindfolded walks with guide dogs, guide dog puppies, and more
- Opportunities to support an important community cause – raise money for a chance to win one of our amazing door prizes
Dogs are welcome to join their humans on course (well-behaved and leashed), making this a unique event for runners and four-legged companions alike. This is a low-key self-timed event. The course will be fully flagged and course marshals will be on course to direct runners. A RunGo audio guide of the course is also available.
This event continues to be inspired in part by the spirit of Guide Dog Dynasty, whose gentle nature helped shape the heart of Dash for Dogs from the beginning.
Whether you run, walk, volunteer, or cheer from the sidelines, we can’t wait to welcome you to the 2027 edition of Dash for Dogs.

Virtual Run
If you cannot attend the event in Vancouver, you can still sign up to run virtually, help us raise money, and make a difference no matter where you live. On February 22 (or any day you choose), enjoy a run and optionally send us a photo. Try the RunGo iPhone app feature to overlay your run route and stats to an image or map. Bonus: draw and follow a route shape inspired by Dash for Dogs, like a puppy or a pancake, and we’ll honour the most creative one sent in! *Note: this does not give you access to the Vancouver Event; you must register as a 2k, 5k, or 10k if you want to attend.*

Terms, Fees and Cancellation Notice
- Online registration closes Friday, February 20, 2026.
- There is an online processing fee applied to all online registrations of 6.5% + $1.25, and 6.5% + $0.85 for donations.
- VISA, MC, Amex, Discover Card accepted.
- All funds payable in Canadian Dollars.
- Transfers are allowed to other distance events.
- The charge for the RunGo Dash for Dogs will appear on your credit card statement from Race Roster or Fast North Corp.
- Proceeds, less fees, go to BC Guide Dogs, (Registered Charity #: 89131 1763 RR0001)
No refunds accepted for your registration into RunGo Dash for Dogs. In the event of race cancellation or reschedule due to an act of nature or other factors beyond the control of organizers, no refunds will be possible. If the live event is canceled your registrations will be transferred to the Virtual event.
