Gnarly and tough, this is a challenging 50K with nearly 3000 metres of elevation gain, run on single track, technical trails. The route is the 25K run twice, starting first in opposite direction to the 25k race. Start 7:00 am, cut-off time 4:00 pm

Additional Information
The Run for Water Trail Races on Sumas Mountain will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026. These trails are rugged and technical single-track, offering vistas of the Fraser River and the gorgeous Fraser Valley. This course has it all: some roots, some rocks, some mud, and plenty of elevation gain! The race is tough, make no mistake about it! The 25k (and 50k) route will take you to the two highest peaks in Sumas Mountain Regional Park and expose you to some of the nicest, flowing trails our BC rain forests have to offer.
Full payment is due at time of registration and is non-refundable. Everything you donate or fundraise above the race entry fee is tax deductible.
Deferral Policy
You can switch to a shorter distance after registration at no cost, subject to availability. Please let us know one week before race day. We do not offer deferral to the follow year's event or transfer of bibs to another racer.
Package pick-up
Early Package Pickup is available Friday, May 29 from 2:30-5:30 PM (Location TBD). Race day packages are to be picked up just before the race at the start/finish area. In order to allow enough time to get your packages and get all set up please arrive 30 - 60 min prior to your event start time.
