Get ready for the marathon with a new PR! Join Students Run LA students and leaders at Hansen Dam for the third event of the Medal Series. Every runner will receive the next medal in the Series and a special t-shirt designed by an SRLA Student.
This is the registration page for public participants, current SRLA students and leaders can register by contacting their group's primary leader.
No refunds.
Bib Pick Up will take place the morning of the event (2/15) between 6AM and 7AM in the expo area. Please arrive early to allow yourself plenty of time to walk over and pick up your materials. No bag check.
30K Course Limit - 5 hours. We cannot ensure road closures or post-event materials for runners/walkers completing the event in over 5 hours. No late starts.
Run the Dam or Complete the Virtual Race
Participants have two options for the SRLA Friendship Run...
Complete the 30K or 5K runs in-person with SRLA Students and leaders on Sunday, February 7th at Hansen Dam.
Or
Participate in the Virtual Run*
- Run, walk, or jog 5K or 30K anywhere in the world, at any time
- Submit your time online
- Receive a finisher item and a medal by mail, following the event
*Virtual participants will not be allowed to run on the course on Sunday, February 15th. Bibs, medals, and finisher items will not be provided to Virtual participants on the day of the event.
Race Day Registration
In-person registration will be available for both the 30K and 5K.
Registration will be Sunday morning at Hansen Dam from 6AM - 7:15AM. Please arrive early with payment in hand.
We will accept cash, card, and Venmo payments.

Registration closes five minutes before the start of each race.
Virtual run: All medals and finisher items will be sent via US Postal Service to the address provided in your registration. Mailings will begin the week of February 7thth and may take 3 weeks to arrive. Virtual participants will not be allowed to run on the course on Sunday, February 7th. Bibs, medals, and finisher items will not be provided to Virtual participants on the day of the event.
