There’s something special about swimming at Mount Martha. With its crystal-clear blue-green waters, iconic colourful bathing boxes and beautiful sandy beach, it’s the perfect setting for an unforgettable ocean swimming experience. In 2026, Mount Martha Beach was the only Victorian beach named among Australia’s top ten beaches!
Proudly hosted by Mount Martha Life Saving Club, the MMAD Swim brings together swimmers of all ages and abilities for a morning of challenge, community and seaside fun.
Take on our NEW 2.5km distance, swim the iconic 1.2km Classic with your mates, family or team in our Swim with Friends category, try the 200m or 400m for the first time or tackle the 5km Endurance.

Those wanting to compete for an overall place in the 1.2km event will need to swim in the Open wave.

This event will be held as a wave of the 1.2 km swim. Each person in the group needs to register and pay individually. There will be no awards for this wave.
400m Novice Swim
This event is for swimmers new to ocean swimming. Please do not enter this event if you are an accomplished swimmer. There are no trophies or prizes, it's purely a fun, participation event.
