Hawthorne 4-Hour Run

-NEW event for 2027

-Race is held at Hawthorne Park 500 Ackerman Drive Porter, Indiana 46304

-You will receive a limited-edition t-shirt (shirt design will be posted in the future). There are a limited number of t-shirts available once they are gone there gone. If that happens you will receive winter hat and gloves instead

-Race will start at 8:30 am CENTRAL TIME. You will run a 1-mile loop as many times as possible for 4 hours.

-Aid station will be inside the community center. You are welcome to grab some fuel and warm-up if it gets cold

The purpose Crazy Legs Race Series (CLRS) is to promote non-pavement/pavement races in the Northwest Indiana region through the development and management of new and existing races. At all our events you will experience fun and challenging course design in a low-key atmosphere. Races will be held in parks or areas in the Lake, Porter and Laporte counties.

The Crazy Legs Race Series welcomes and encourages participation in our events by all individuals regardless of their sexual orientation, biological sex, gender identity, or gender expression. Transgender runners may register as the gender they identify with and there is no documentation needed.

The Crazy Legs Race Series would like to begin by acknowledging that the land on which we host our races is the seized territory of the Miami, Shawnee, and Illinois Nations. Refugees from other nations also resided in the area we use, including the Lenape (Delaware). We honor those who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.
