Race for a cause that matters to you. Through the Beneva Charity Challenge, participants can fundraise for one of 100+ charities (more are continually being added!). Create or join a fundraising team during registration, or rally your workplace and put together a Corporate Team.

Green Bib Option

Returning in 2027, the Fluid Projects Green Bib! This gives participants the option to participate in our race and forgo receiving a race shirt and finisher medal. If a participant chooses the Green Bib option, a $10 donation will be made to the Great Divide Trail Association, in lieu of a race shirt and medal.

Please note: The Green Bib Program does not apply to the Kids Race or Diaper Dash! All kids participating in these two events will receive both a shirt (or baby bib for Diaper Dash participants) AND medal.

Prices now include all processing fees. Base registration fees have not changed. Participants will be charged 5% GST tax in addition to the race entry fee listed.

All entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE

  • All registration fees are non-refundable with the exception of those that enrolled in the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program at the time of registration and their unforeseen circumstance is covered by their policy.
  • During registration, there is the option to protect your purchase by enrolling in the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program for a small fee. Participants that enroll in the refund program will be refunded if they are unable to attend due to a variety of unforeseen circumstances, such as injury & illness, COVID-19, severe weather, work travel conflict, layoffs/termination or mechanical breakdown.   • Like all insurance policies there are exclusions, so please read the fine print. The insurance does not cover your entry fee if we are forced to cancel the event.
  • In the case of in-person race cancellation, all 2027 in-person participants registered in the Beneva Calgary Marathon Race Weekend will automatically be transferred to the virtual event.

Transferring Distances or Transferring Your Bib to Another Person

  • Transferring to another distance (or to virtual) can be completed online before May 17, 2027. Transfers on/after May 17, 2027 can be completed in-person at the Solutions Desk within the Runner’s Expo. Please note, if certain distances have already sold out and reached capacity, it is not guaranteed that you will be able to switch distances.
  • In the event that you can't participate in a race and you have not enrolled in the Refund Protection Program, you can transfer your registration to someone else.
  • Participant transfers (transferring your bib to another person) can be completed online UNTIL:
    • Friday, May 28 at 5:00pm MT for Saturday events
    • Saturday, May 29 at 12:00pm MT for Sunday events
