What country will you represent?


Choose the Mingle that suits you — from gentle city walks perfect for families and first‑timers, to trail and bush‑track hikes for those seeking adventure. Every Mingle is a chance to meet new people, share stories, and experience Canberra in a unique and meaningful way.

There are 7 Mingles to choose from — a mix of walks and hikes ranging from gentle 7 km routes to the full 42.2 km bush‑trail hike.

Enter for one walk or take on a two-walk challenge.

Across two days, you can choose from 7 different Mingles — including city walks, nature path hikes, and bush‑trail hikes.
To earn the Two-Day medal, you must complete a two‑Mingle combination totalling more than 24 km — any mix of walks or hikes.

The MarchMingle and the AussiePeaceWalk are non‑competitive walking and hiking challenges — NOT races.

Whether you’re walking or hiking, by yourself or with friends, every Mingle is designed for conversation. The goal is to walk together, talk together, and mingle with fellow participants. Stop for a coffee, take photos, enjoy the scenery — MarchMingle is about connection, not competition.

The MarchMingle and AussiePeaceWalk are committed to inclusivity and accessibility, offering both gentle city walks and more challenging trail hikes.

Minor route changes may occur. All route distances are approximate (except the marathon), and terrain varies by Mingle — from urban walks to bush‑trail hikes.

  • The ultimate walking challenge: A 42km hike on Saturday plus a 24km walk on Sunday. A total of 66km for the weekend. Includes bus transfer to start point of the marathon. If you want to challenge yourself with the marathon and 24km combination but decide to pull out at the halfway point, you will be credited with having finished the 21km. (Under 18 age discount will be applied at checkout.)

42.2 km Mingle Marathon (Bush Trail Hike)

  • Why run a Marathon when you can walk one! The 2027 Mingle Marathon is mostly on bush trails, so good trail footwear is essential. Entry includes a bus transfer to the start point, and you will hike back to finish at Event HQ. (Under 18 age discount will be applied at checkout.)

Two 7km walks on consecutive days. Wear something to show off your cultural heritage and join in the fun. You can also do one 7km walk on either day (see below).
