Countdown to event
Run for a Vision: Empowering Futures
Join us for the 2027 Frozen Paw 5K presented by United Wholesale Mortgage, a frosty winter tradition through the heart of Downtown Rochester during the annual Fire & Ice Festival.
More than just a race, the Frozen Paw 5K helps support Leader Dogs for the Blind, providing guide dogs and life-changing services to people who are blind or visually impaired. Whether you're chasing a personal record, walking with friends and family, or running in support of a meaningful cause, every step makes a difference.
Every registration helps provide guide dogs and services at no cost to people who are blind or visually impaired.
Returning for 2027: The 2-Day Frozen Paw Expo! Kick off race weekend on the Leader Dog campus with packet pickup, exclusive event merchandise, local vendors, interactive experiences, and an opportunity to learn more about the mission your participation supports.
New for 2027: All participants will enjoy a common start and finish line experience, bringing runners, walkers, volunteers, and spectators together in one central location to celebrate every mile and every achievement.
Bundle up and hit the course alongside 1,100 runners and walkers as Downtown Rochester comes alive with the sights, sounds, and winter magic of the Fire & Ice Festival.
Run Cold. Change Lives.
