Registration Policies
*Online registration closes at 11:59pm PST on Monday, May 31, 2027 OR when the event sells out. On site registration will be available at package pickup if space allows.
*Registration fees do not include GST and online processing charges.
*Refund Policy: Athletes are offered the option to opt in to purchase the Optional Refund Insurance through Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program (RRERPP) during the registration process. The cost of this third-party program is noted during registration and you will be eligible for a refund if you need to cancel for reasons covered under the policy.
With the addition of this option, The Valley GranFondo has a no refund/no deferral policy in place to make sure our team is well prepared in advance to operate a premium event. All race entries are NON-REFUNDABLE. For more details on RRERPP click Here, for FAQs about RRERPP click Here, for RRERPP Terms & Conditions click Here.
PLEASE NOTE: If you choose not to opt in for the coverage, you will forfeit your option to recover any costs associated with your registration.
*Registration Transfer Policy and Distance Changes: Registered riders are able to transfer their entry to another individual or transfer to another distance until Monday, May 31, 2027 (if event space allows). Transfers to another rider will have a $20 processing fee. Distance transfers to a shorter distance are not eligible for a refund of the price difference. Distance transfers to a longer distance will require payment of the price difference from the registered distance to the new distance pricing at the time of the change request.
*Event Cancellation Policy: The Valley GranFondo in accordance with municipal and provincial authorities, as well as regional law enforcement, reserves the right to cancel or alter any of the events due to unforeseen circumstances such as, but not limited to weather events and related consequences (e.g. flooding, fires), hostile threats, highway closures mandated by provincial or other authorities, health and safety concerns. If cancellation of an event takes place, please follow instructions of the event officials and local law enforcement personnel. Your entry fee is non-refundable in the event the race is canceled due to adverse, inclement, or unsafe weather.
*Event Capacity: Registration is limited and the event has sold out for the past two years. As such, we encourage participants to register early to avoid disappointment. We do not maintain waitlists. Once a distance is sold out, it’s sold out.
