Malabar Magic Ocean Swim 2027
Back to the beach. Back to the bay. Your favourite swims return on Sunday 21 February 2027!
Join us at Malabar Beach for the 1km, 2.5km or 5km swim in the calm waters of Malabar Bay. Whether you’re taking on your first ocean swim, chasing a personal best or making a morning of it with your swimming friends, we can’t wait to welcome you back.
Swim for yourself. Fundraise for Rainbow Club. Every entry supports specialised swimming lessons for young people with a disability. Take that support further by setting a fundraising goal and asking friends and family to get behind your swim.
Safety has always been, and will always be, our first priority. It guides every event we deliver, including all decisions about whether conditions are suitable for the swim to proceed.
The Virtual Swim will also return alongside the ocean swim, with an expanded Mini Malabar program building on the success of Rainbow Club members swimming at their local pools in 2026.
Choose your distance, rally your friends and join us on the start line at Malabar!
