Hi there, and thank you for wanting to volunteer at the 2027 Orange Running Festival which is celebrating it's 21st year! The Orange Running Festival cannot happen without you, our volunteers. You are key to making the event safe and welcoming for all our participants.

To our returning volunteers, the volunteer registration process has slightly changed. This is no longer an expression of interest in a role. This is you selecting your specified roles and timeslots. For the enthusiast volunteer, you can select up to ten shifts over the weekend.

To make the Orange Running Festival happen, we require volunteers over three days; Friday 5th through to and including Sunday 7th March 2027. There are a diverse range of positions and roles from which to choose, including;

  • Bib Collection & Registration assistance

  • Parking Marshal at Race HQ

  • Merchandise assistance

  • Start Marshal

  • Lead Cyclist

  • Water Station Marshal

And many more besides.

Prior to the weekend you will be provided with a briefing sheet for your specific role and there is a FAQ document to support as well. Under 18 year old's are welcome to volunteer, but are eligible only for certain roles and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please reach out and chat with us. We encourage participation as much as is practical.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss volunteering, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator:
