Youth in Motion

Youth in Motion is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded on Molokai in 1998 with one simple belief: every young person deserves someone in their corner. For more than 25 years, we have engaged over 1,000 Molokai youth in sports, mentorship, and character building, from coaching clinics to world-class ocean channel crossings.

All donations made through the Molokai Marathon are shared equally among the Molokai youth groups who volunteer and help make race day possible. Your gift also helps launch our new run club for ages 11–15, featuring our Shepherd and Steward mentorship program, where older youth guide younger ones and help keep Molokai’s keiki active, connected, and growing into leaders.
