Age Calculation Date
Racing age for this event is calculated as at 31/12/2026, this is as per the AusTriathlon Race Competition Rules. This means your racing age is the age you were on that date, so for example if you turned 30 after that date then your racing age is still 29.

- This event is sanctioned by Aus Triathlon Ltd, and run under AusTriathlon Race Competition Rules
- Aus Triathlon adopts the National Integrity Framework (NIF) by Sport Integrity Australia.
Schedule of Events
Saturday 1st May 2027
- Busselton 5: 100m swim, 4km cycle, and 900m run. Kids Triathlon ages 7 - 15 only. Individuals only.
- Busselton 25: 500m swim, 20km cycle, and 4.5km run. Ages 14+ for individuals, and 13+ for teams.
Sunday 2nd May 2027
- Busselton 50: 2km swim, 40km cycle, and 8km run. Ages 18+ for individuals, and 16+ for teams
- Busselton 100 Triathlon: 2km swim, 80km cycle, and 18km run. Ages 18+. Teams and Individuals.
- Busselton 100 Duathlon: 8km run, 80km cycle, and 12km run. Ages 18+ Individuals only.
- Busselton Aquabike: 2km swim, 80km cycle. Ages 18+ Individuals only.
Please note: Due to the time of year, athletes competing in the Busselton 50, Busselton 100 Triathlon, and Busselton Aquabike must bring a wetsuit. Busselton 25 Athletes should also have a wetsuit with them. These events have been wetsuit mandatory in the past, so please ensure you have your wetsuit with you on race day.
Bike racking and pack collection for Sunday events (B50, 100, Duathlon and Aquabike) is done on Saturday evening. Please ensure you are able to be in Busselton for this, as no late racking is permitted on race morning.

KC Australia Merchandise Pre-Orders
No Pick-Up Option for Merch Ordered Through Reg Portal:
All merchandise pre-orders via the registration portal this year will be posted to your nominated shipping address ahead of the event. This is because in past years, our supplier has had a lot of unclaimed pick-up orders on race weekend.
If you select add on merch items (not including the ODL fee, Free Participant Tee, MiTime insert, or Bossfoto Pack) then a flat $15 fee will be added at checkout to cover postage via our supplier, KC Australia. This postage fee applies per transaction and will only be a max of $15 (for Australia-wide postage) no matter how many merchandise items you select.
Items in rego may show a higher display price initially (because the system includes the $10 fee), but at checkout will be corrected when the $15 shipping fee applies to the whole cart and not each item.
KC Australia will reach out directly to any competitors that require international shipping.

The Busselton Festival of Triathlon returns to Busselton for an unforgettable weekend of racing, community and celebration.
With events for all ages and abilities, from kids and beginners through to experienced endurance athletes, there's a challenge waiting for everyone. Race alongside thousands of participants, soak up the atmosphere at Barnard Park, and enjoy one of Australia's most scenic and supportive race destinations.
Triathlon WA Members Only: Entries for Standard and Premium WA members will open at 12pm AWST on 29 October 2026. All members will be emailed a code on the day entries open to access the registration portal and purchase their entries at the lowest price available. This is our thank you to the community of members who support Triathlon WA and our affiliated clubs year-round.
General Public Entries: Entries for non-members and the general public will open at on Thursday 5 November 2026. You won’t need an access code to register from this date onward.

Saturday Participants: We recommend staying in Busso from Friday afternoon through to Sunday.
Sunday Participants: We recommend staying in Busso from Saturday afternoon through to Monday morning. This ensures you're available for pack pickup, bike racking and post-race catch ups with you club mates and family.
