After an unforgettable inaugural event that brought more than 6,000 participants to the streets of Geelong, the Geelong Running Festival is back for 2027, and we're ready to make it even bigger and better!
Join us on Sunday, September 19th, 2027, for the second edition of the Geelong Running Festival, featuring the Marathon, Half Marathon and a community run.
Experience the excitement of running or walking through the traffic-free streets of Geelong, passing through iconic Kardinia Park and taking in the spectacular waterfront views of Corio Bay and the Eastern Beach foreshore.
Whether you're chasing a personal best, taking on your first marathon, running for a cause or simply enjoying the experience with family and friends, there's something for everyone at the Geelong Running Festival.
But this event is about more than running.
We're proud to bring our community together, celebrate our beautiful city and continue supporting local charities that make a real difference across our region.
The celebrations begin on Saturday, September 18th, with our Kids 1-Mile and All Abilities 1-Mile events, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to be part of this special weekend.
