On SEPTEMBER 12th 2027 the third annual Horsham Running Festival will be held on paths alongside the picturesque Wimmera River in Horsham, Victoria.
The event will offer a full marathon, half marathon and a quarter marathon (10.55km) event for runners, a quarter marathon event for walkers and a 5km walk or run option. There will also be a FREE 2km Kids' Dash. This will be a fun untimed event for U/12s.
We are pleased to announce that the course has now been officially measured and certified by AIMS (the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) which means your time at Horsham can be used for qualification purposes for any distance race worldwide.
This Horsham event is also now part of the Western Victoria Marathon Festival series which includes the Dimboola Dash in April (www.dimbooladash.au) and the Mildura Riverfront Marathon in June (www.mildurariverfrontmarathon.com.au). Entering all three events for the same distance via the Dimboola site makes you eligible for a special Triple Crown medal and offers huge savings on your entry fees.
The aim of the Horsham Running Festival is threefold – to attract runners from all over Australia to this thriving regional city; to encourage more local children and adults to get into the running ‘habit’; and to provide an additional annual running challenge for the local parkrun and running community.
