Supporting the Jasper Museum
Every registration helps make a difference in Jasper.
A mandatory $20 charitable contribution is added to eligible race registrations in support of the Jasper Museum:
These contributions provide a starting point for our collective fundraising efforts, supporting local nitiatives and helping strengthen the Jasper community.
Participants are also encouraged to make additional donations or fundraise in support of the Foundation.
REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION INFORMATION
- 5% GST will be applied at checkout.
- All entries include a commemorative technical race shirt.
- Online registration closes at 12:00 p.m. (MST) on Friday, June 4, 2027, or when the event sells out.
- An online processing fee will apply to your registration for the 2027 Gran Fondo Jasper.
- All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, VISA Debit, and INTERAC Online accepted. - Your credit card statement will show a charge from "2027 Gran Fondo Jasper."
- Registration is subject to annual final approval by Parks Canada.
Due to the unique nature of Jasper National Park, wildlife interactions may occur on the race route. In such cases, event organizers reserve the right to delay the start, stop participants on course, modify or shorten the route, or cancel the event entirely, as deemed necessary under the Event Wildlife Interaction Response Plan. Participants understand and accept this risk; no refunds will be issued in these cases.
All participants must present valid photo ID at check-in. The Event Organizers reserve the right to deny entries or registration changes for any reason.
Entries are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable to a future event. This includes cases of injury, illness, or non-attendance. Exceptions may apply only under the Gran Fondo Jasper Infectious Disease Policy (see below).

HOW THIS WORKS
- Register and pay a discounted entry fee of $115 to secure your spot.
- Create a fundraising page and commit to raising a minimum of $750 by race day for our charity partner.
*By registering for this category, you agree to fundraise a minimum of $750 for our charity. If you do not meet the fundraising minimum 24 hours prior to race day, you will be charged the difference to participate in the event.
All registrations are non-refundable.
NO REFUNDS – NO EXCEPTIONS
We are a small organization, and event planning requires year-round preparation. As such, we are unable to offer refunds. However, we recognize that injuries and unforeseen circumstances can occur. The following options are available:
- Distance Changes
- Transfers to Another Person
PARKS CANADA AND WILDLIFE CONSIDERATIONS
Registration and course approval are subject to final authorization by Parks Canada. Due to the unique character of Jasper National Park, wildlife activity may occur on or near the course. Organizers reserve the right to:
- Delay the start
- Hold participants on course
- Alter the route or distance
- Cancel the event as required under the Event Wildlife Interaction Response Plan
No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
AIR QUALITY & WILDFIRE SMOKE PROTOCOL
Air quality in Jasper National Park is monitored daily during event week using Environment and Climate Change Canada’s Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) and Parks Canada advisories.
Should wildfire smoke or poor air quality present safety concerns, organizers reserve the right to:
- Delay the start time
- Shorten or modify course distances
- Temporarily suspend participants on course
- Cancel the event if conditions reach High to Very High Risk (AQHI 7 or above) levels
No refunds will be issued in these circumstances. Participant health and safety will always guide event-day decisions. Updates will be communicated via email, social media, and on-site announcements.
AIR QUALITY PROTOCOL
FORCE MAJEURE & EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY
The safety of all participants, volunteers, and staff is our highest priority. Circumstances beyond the organizer’s control — including but not limited to wildfire, poor air quality, wildlife activity, severe weather, natural disaster, public health restrictions, or other force majeure events — may impact the safe delivery of the Gran Fondo Jasper.
If the event must be modified, shortened, delayed, or temporarily suspended for safety reasons, the event will be considered complete once any distance has been offered. No refunds or credits will be issued in these circumstances.
If the event is fully cancelled prior to race day due to wildfire smoke (AQHI 7 or higher), government restrictions, or other uncontrollable factors that prevent safe participation, organizers may, at their discretion, provide one of the following options:
- Free entry into the Virtual Event for 2026, OR
- A credit of up to 40% of the paid entry fee toward the 2027 Gran Fondo Jasper
Charity contributions, processing fees, and optional upgrades are non-refundable and are not included in any credit calculation. We will follow all current Parks Canada and public health guidelines in effect at race time and communicate any updates through email, social media, and the event website.

Gran Fondo Jasper is proud to announce Alpine Village as the Presenting Sponsor of the MNP Gran Fondo Jasper. As the presenting sponsor for Gran Fondo Jasper, Alpine Village will be the official host accommodations for the event. Official booking information will be made available in January 2027.
