As you know the running Florida Group has now become a private group. This was done because spam was overtaking the group. We now strictly control the amount of advertising in the group.
We do have partnership opportunities available. Our partnership opportunity is very simple.
1: You must be a Member of the group.
2: Each of your races can only be posted once each week. If you put on multiple races per year each race can be posted 1 time per week. But only 1 post per day for your company regardless of how many races you hold.
Since going private, membership has grown by over 1,100 runners. We are over 3,500 members strong.

The Running Florida Group is an eclectic community of runners here to motivate and inspire one another!

My name is Tracy Hussey, the admin of this group and the Founder of My Favorite Race Events.
My objective is to deliver value to you in your running journey, wherever that may be. In this group, I'll regularly be sharing tips, motivational content, posting a link to my weekly RD Blog, and giving you opportunities to connect, grow, and learn from others.
We are over 3,400 members and growing, I will make this group the best it can possibly be for everyone, But in the end, it's the members that keep it great!
You will still see posts about FL races, but we have new guidelines that will help the group focus on our members and not look like a bulletin board for all of us crazy RD's!

Keep it positive. Keep your posts relevant to the running community. You can ask for recommendations & suggestions, but make sure it's related to why we're all here
There is a ton of great information already in this group. To avoid duplicate threads, please use the search bar/icon BEFORE asking questions. If you find a thread related to your question, comment "follow." Categorize with topic tags when possible.
Self-promotion, business/product promotion, spam, and any irrelevant links aren't allowed. Posting these can result in a ban from the group. For all promotional opportunities or partnership inquires, email racedirectortracy@icloud.com!
We know, you’d love to grow your Instagram following, YouTube subscribers, and other social media stats, but this isn’t a vanity group. We will present controlled, occasional opportunities for this.
We welcome posts that are informative and useful for our community, but dropping links or other material without any context whatsoever creates a spammy, in-your-face feel that offers no true value. Always add context to your posts.
Keep it positive and uplifting. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated. Also - please keep politics out.
If something/someone objectively breaks a group rule, report it. If something simply offends you or isn't your style, move on. There's plenty of good content in this group, and it's not worth getting bent over a Facebook post.
