The concept of a “Shed” was originally developed by the older men in the community to provide a venue to get together and undertake recreational pursuits. The Shed is a facility located on the Darkan Railway Reserve and contains three sections. One area has been designated for woodworking and one section designated for metal working. A central area will be utilised for displaying finished projects and for addressing men’s health issues and will also house a dining area.
