The Great Victorian Swim Series is back – and this year it brings more excitement, more community, and more reasons to jump in. The 2025–26 season rolls out 10 iconic Victorian swims, powered by oceanswims.com in partnership with Tomato Timing and Race Roster.

The series leaderboard

The GVSS leaderboard adds a friendly competitive spark across the summer.

Points are awarded for finishing in the top three of your age category, plus participation points for every Series swim you complete. At the end of the season, the winner of each age category earns free entry to every event in next year’s Series – the ultimate reward for consistency, commitment, and showing up.

The first merch drop of the new era

For the first time in the new era, GVSS has its own Delfina-designed merch range. Think sharp new swimwear, a lightweight towel, and a limited-edition tee – all sporting the refreshed Series identity. It’s clean, coastal, and unmistakably Victorian.

The celebration function returns

The legendary end-of-season GVSS celebration is back. Expect good vibes, familiar faces, and a proper wrap-up of an epic summer.

How the Series works:

Events & Entry

• 10 events throughout Victoria (one nominated swim per event)
• Become a Series member for only $30 and get $5 off each Series swim entry - that's up to $50 value!
• Ensure you are a GVSS member before you enter events to earn Series Points and Prize Draw entries^#

Series Points

• Series points are awarded to the top 3 finishers in each event by category^
• Placing points are determined by a member's best four event results
• Participation points are accumulated across all 10 events
• Series winners get free entry to all Series swims for the 2026-27 season (must have swum in a minimum of four events)

Prize Draws

• There is a prize draw following each event (the number of draw entries is earned at each event; one prize per member)*
• Prizes supplied by leading brands, including OceanFit, Effortless Swimming, Orca, Vorgee, ASICS and more!
• There are two major prize draws (combines all draw entries earned from all events up until that point)
  • After swim #5 - 2026 Pier to Pine Norfolk Island escape
  • End of the Series - 2026 Swim The Whitsundays

Example: Enter an event and place second in your category, equals 3 Series points and 3 entries into the prize draw.

^#Your membership must be verified on the entry form for each event you enter.

^Includes GVSS members and non-GVSS members.

*Please note that if a member is mistakenly left out of an event prize draw, we will give that member an additional entry in the major prize draw as compensation.

Swim The Whitsundays Prize Conditions

The major prize is one Single Share spot on an OceanFit Swim the Whitsundays tour, valued at $2,599. The prize is subject to 2026 tour availability at the time it is awarded. If no tour dates are available in 2026, the prize will roll over to 2027. If 2026 tour dates are available and the winner cannot attend, the prize becomes void and cannot be rolled over. The prize does not include flights, transfers (other than PPP to Airlie Beach return), or any other expenses associated with attending the tour. It is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

Norfolk Island Swim Escape Prize Conditions

The prize is for the 2026 Pier to Pine Ocean Swim (10–12 April 2026). The prize includes (1) three nights’ accommodation, (2) airport meet and greet, (3) three days’ car hire, (4) swim entry for two. Valued at $1,629. Twin share, flights not included. It is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
