Don't miss the Asheville area's 1st running series of it's kind - Race to the Taps - featuring six 4-mile, chip-timed road races that start and end at premier area breweries. Each race will highlight the natural elements surrounding the brewery's neighborhood with varying degrees of difficulty and surprises along unique routes appropriate for both the seasoned runner as well as the casual runner/walker. Strollers and pets will not be allowed. Each race will include a non-profit partner to receive a portion of race proceeds.

We have already TAPPED 4 races in the series and we are looking forward to the final two races in October featuring Oskar Blues at 1pm on October 3rd and Sierra Nevada Brewing Company at 10amon October 31st. Runners and spectators will enjoy a post-race festival at the finish of each event with music, food, and of course, beer from the host brewery available for purchase.

Each runner receives a Race to the Taps t-shirt customized for the race (if registered prior to the t-shirt deadline for the race), a Race to the Taps koozie, as well as a beer pour at the end of the race (for runners 21 and older).

Craft beer centric prizes will be awarded for the top three male and female overall finishers in each age category as well as custom prizes for the top three male and female in Masters and Grandmasters Divisions. Race to the Taps specific awards include a spirit/best dressed King and Queen of the Taps award for each race, a MOP award (the middle of the pack) for the runner with the time in the middle of all runners, and 2 pop-up sprints along each race course.
